The love of my life is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I was introduced to Jesus in 1976 (the year of my birth) by my parents who raised me in a God fearing home. After several years of bad tempers, lying, kicking my brother, and being generally disobedient to my parents, I came to the realization that I was a sinner and that I needed to have my sins forgiven by God in order to not face eternal judgment in hell. The only way that could happen is for me to believe that Jesus died on the cross for all the sins that I had committed and for all the sins that I would ever commit. And I also needed to believe that Jesus rose from the dead, overcoming the judgment of God in my place. So I did. I believed. I knelt by my bed with my father on April 9, 1983, and asked God to forgive me and to save me. I was six years old. Since that time, I have felt the presence of God in my life. Whenever I was tempted to do something wrong, I would get this overwhelming feeling that I should not do it. It's hard to explain, but I know it was the hand of God keeping me close to His heart. I thank God for His grace that has kept me from a lifestyle of sin and from so many regrets.

Second only to my Lord Jesus is my beautiful wife, Melissa. We were married on August 9, 1997. We both grew up attending the same church and we started dating in the 10th grade. She is a wonderful wife and mother with a sincere love for Jesus that she daily instills into the lives of our children. She's also my biggest encourager. I thank God for giving me such a loving and godly partner to walk beside. I also have two children. My son Jake is 5 and my daughter Molly is 2. They make me laugh every day, and they are a constant source of joy in our home.

As you can probably guess, I love music. I grew up singing in choirs and memorizing hymns as a part of the ministry of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, FL. As a teenager, I felt the Lord calling me to serve Him. He directed me toward a music degree, and after college, I took a position as Minister of Music. I served in two churches over a period of 6 years. Eventually, God lead me out of the church staff position. And then, about one year later, He brought Redemption Plan together. I'm awed and humbled to see the hand of God directing me and allowing me to be a part of this ministry. It's a blessing to serve Him alongside my close friends. All thanks be to God for what he is doing.
