"The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my victory. He is my God and I will praise him. He is my father's God, and I will exalt Him." Exodus 15:2
Every day I am constantly reminded of God's faithfulness and his Mercy. As a child growing up my family attended First Baptist Church Daytona and it was there at the age of 11 that I believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and was saved. What a life changing experience and I am forever thankful for his continual grace and forgiveness in my life. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to minister through song to declare His glory. What an honor and a privilege to sing praises to the Lord. I have been singing for the LORD since I was a young girl. I am so thankful for a wonderful family and a mom and dad who always made sure we were in church. The Lord really grew and stretched me during my childhood years in the FBC youth and college ministries there. As I look back I see God's hand every step of the way guiding me and directing me. Little did I know that He was preparing me all along for His ministry.
It was in the college ministry at First Baptist that the Lord brought David and I together and God has blessed me beyond measure with such a wonderful companion. David is such a great example of a godly husband and I am thankful we are taking this journey together. The Lord is so faithful!
My prayer is that I let go everyday of myself and continually grow closer to Him till there is nothing left of me. To Him be all the Glory and Honor. May our music and our lives reflect Christ, the center of our lives. Let us run the race that the Lord has set before us giving Him all the glory!
